David Loy will speak on The New Bodhisattva Path.

The ecological crisis is the greatest crisis that humanity has ever faced — and we are doing it to ourselves. What does Buddhism offer that can help us understand and respond appropriately? And what does the eco-crisis mean for how we understand and practice Buddhism? I believe that the most important Buddhist teaching today is the new bodhisattva (or ‘ecosattva’) path — ’new’ because our present situation is unique and requires some change of emphasis. The talk will discuss the most distinctive features of the path that calls to us today.

All are welcome to join. Learn more about how to practice with us online or in person here:
