In this talk on our yearly Rohatsu all-night-sit, senior student Mukei invites us to see Enlightenment as an intimate process. It is easy to be attached to the idea that Enlightenment is fabricated way of responding to life or a belief. The Buddha had to look at the thoughts, feelings and patterns that kept him and us from being intimate with life. Eventually, he saw enlightenment was natural to all beings and that when he/we are intimate with our life, we are able to be helpful to all beings.
