In this Zazenkai talk, Kaku Hoshi looks into the question of meaning. Starting out with a Zen story from “Transmission of the Light,” Kaku then looks into his own past and sees how his own search for meaning has lead him to life as priest and Zen student. He discovers the search for meaning to really be a search for relationships and identity. Zen asks us to look inside ourselves and see beyond meaning and discussion. Recorded May 13, 2017
