In his Dharma talk senior student Seiryū considers how the drive to attach to how we think things should be is like riding in a broken cart. Whether a flower arrangement, a basket, a piece of writing, or the nation we wish we lived in, the things we attach to can also be the vehicles for learning to let go of fixed notions and feel every bump in the road.
