My practice, whether labeled "art" or "zen" is about trying to witness and then respond.

I trained originally as a sculptor. I was always drawn to certain media because of their aesthetics and how the media itself affected me. When working with clay, either throwing on the wheel or using it in performance, I found that the line between self and other, between me and the art, blur. Whether it's searching for the perfect tea ware or engaging in a dialogue about my community, both processes are healing. I continue to explore this and try and integrate all these aspects of my life.

I am currently in graduate school in Philadelphia studying to be an art therapist.
